Kiwi Set to Celebrate US Internet Safety Day

September 26th, 2009 by Kiwi Commons

Internet Safety DayInternet Safety Day (ISD) on September 27th, 2009 is a day set to create awareness about Internet and computer safety in the United States.  It was purposely chosen to coincide with the millions of children and teens heading back to school.  This time of year means kids all across North America will be spending much more time on computers and the Internet doing homework and research.

Want to be involved? Join in the thousands of parents taking 30 minutes of their day on the 27th to sit down with their children and discuss the importance of Internet safety.

Even though this is US Internet Safety Day, Kiwi would like to celebrate by sharing its most popular Internet safety resources with readers:

1) Back to School Internet Safety

2) Parent – Youth Internet Safety Agreement

3) My Internet Safety Pledge – by kids for kids

Visit the official Internet Safety Day website here and check out their Internet Safety Day package here.

Together, we can make a difference!
