Scientists Make Case for why Video Games are Good

Regular players of shoot-em-up games, such as Half-Life and Medal of Honour, have much better visual skills than those who don’t play, according to scientists commissioned by the US Government’s National Institute of Health.
According to their study, video game playing enhances ones visual attention and the features and measurements of spaces. The scientists tested selected gamers’ visual reflexes through flashing symbols and by honing their skills over a 10 day time period. The end result was noticeably increased visual attention compared to those who didn’t play the games at all.
